The Jevia Story

Jevia Green Earth Salon was inspired by a common dream shared by Jessica Welch and Tavia Morris, two friends and colleagues in the hair styling industry. With a background including nearly 20 years of combined experience, and after much hard work, JeviaGreen Earth Salon was born. Jevia brings a natural, organic haircare alternative to the city of Trussville and the surrounding areas. Jevia Green Earth Salon is a business concerned with the health and beauty of its clients, as well as the condition of our community, national and global environment.

What is a Green Earth Salon?

Our philosphy at Jevia consists of two main themes:

A healthy choice in haircare

At Jevia, we only use and sell 100% organic products. Our color process is ammonia free - for you, that means no acrid smell or stinging scalp, and your color will last longer too! Our shampoos, conditioners and styling products are also completely natural, and we feature the top organic brands on the market such as Alterna HEMP, SOMA, and M.O.P.

Giving back to the community and environment

Jevia is also dedicated to doing our part to contribute to the health and conservation of our community and environment. We feature products that give back to environmental causes and look to get invloved in local and regional green programs and events. In addition, Jevia tries to always purchase salon supplies that are recyclable as well as made of recycled materials. Jevia makes every effor to recycle all paper, cardboard and aluminum products consumed in the salon.

Reduce, Reuse & Recycle

At Jevia Green Earth Salon, we take every opportunity to put this philosophy into practice. All our packaging and cardboard waste is recycled. We also try to always buy office supplies that are made out of recycled and recyclable materials...if you have one of our business cards, they are made from 80 recylced stock! Jevia also supports companies and products that raise or donate funds to environmental causes.
